My monkey turned 5...5 is that even possible.I still remember the day i went into labor ..never in a million years would I of thought of delivering a baby 6 weeks early but I did and he was a big trooper and just perfect~

So this year I went with a Robot theme party..and it was the best party yet! A lot of kiddos let me tell ya!I made most of my decorations and our dear family friend made his cake.I was so pleased .He loved it!

Trevor Turned 7

So this past week my middle little man turned 7 and I have never seen a child be so happy about a birthday then what he was.I think it was all about being the BIG 7.He woke up that morning June 15 and said mom it's my birthday and I am 7 years old I think I grew some and I can now make my own cereal lol he brings such joy to my life.This year he wanted a lego party ,which was erfect since he is into lego big time,that is his and his dads quality time just sitting at his lego table building legos,it just melts my heart.This was such a easy birthday to plan and I knew wxactly how i wanted to do it after a few weeks pryor remember seeing the idea online.I made all decorations and I decorating juice boxes,gift bags,and even his gifts was made into lego's!

I did not make the cake although I probably could have but I usually mess things up so I didnt even try :) Our family friend made it and it was even more cute in person and it tasted so yummy!!

This is just pictures of the lego theme party.We took lil man to fast lanes(entertainment place where you bowl,lazor tag,go carts,etc) with just the family and one friend and he was in heaven it was so much fun.Will post another blog later with pictures.

I wanted to share with you the meaning and why I came up with my blog name!

Little Bit of This and That came from me wanting to share with everyone my crafting and card making creations and still be able to share my family and my life with everyone!

So it's a little bit of this and that I share every week {or at least i try to}!!I love to blog and love reading blogs not only in the crafting and card making world but also in the world of everyones life and family! I might add I am addicted to reading blogs!If I dont do anything else on a daily bases I at least cheach out and read blogs I follow! I lover the blog world!

What do you know it's sunday again! What a nasty cold snowy week! I am so sick of winter and so ready for summer! Havent got to craft in couple of days due to snow days and trying to keep kids entertained since we was snowed in!But I do have some pictures (of me of course)that i wanted to share! I am so inspired by LMM's blog and decide to just go with it and learn to love myself and the way I look in pictures! I have always hated pictures (even though I love take them)but I am putting that behind me and start taking more of myself I believe my kids will love that when they get older and actually have pictures of their old momma!

Composition Book Cover

Hello Crafty friends ! Guess what? We are still snowed in..im so over this stuff! I took advantage of the snow day and made a composition notebook cover! I found this awesome tutorial over at Momma Go Round and loved it! The only thing is I did not use my sewing machine!{I am still learning to sew}So instead of sewing I used Heat n Bond !!This stuff is Ah-Mazing!! I am going to do my best to give you a tutorial on how I made mine! If you prefer to sew you can find much better tutorial over at Momma Go Round blog!

Supplie you will need!

Iron,Heat n Bond,compostion notebook,measuring tape

and of course fabric of choice!

Step one: measure your notebook ,mine just happen to be the same size as Momma Go Rounds so I just used her measurements:notebook{9.5 x 7.5 }Double the width(15 inches)and add 9 inches,add 1 inch to the height,measurements should be 24 x 10.5

Step two:cut and measure your fabric

Step three: this is where you would sew but I used heat and bond cut the amount you need and iron down the crease.

Step four:fold down 3.5 sections for form the pockets:

Repeat last step on the other side:

Here is my final project! I am no good at tutorial and for a better one go to Momma Go Round's blog ! She did it a little differant from mine and hers turned out so much better!

Sorry not much crafting going on here for me ! I want so bad to get out my craft supplies and play! We was hit with a ice and snow storm so we are snowed in and kids are home from school! So instead of me crafting im playing with play doh crayons,wii,and doing a whole lot of snuggling!I do hope to get the house cleaned up and get my car dug out from 8 inches of snow and play with the kids in it and get some cards made and even my son's V-day goddie bags done!We shall see!I do want to share some snow pictures with you today for starts ! I will have tons more !!

Just me wanted to share some pictures of ME out in the snow! This is before I got my hair cut this past week ! Crafty Time for ME!!

Hello my crafty friends I have been working on some projects and wanted to share.Today I will be sharing some frames I made using boards I got at Lowes and some pattern paper modge podge and hot glue and a magnet clip I got at office depot!

I had Lowes cut up my boards into as many 10 inch blocks they could then I paint them the color black and used modge podge to help the paper stick !Then I added some cute feather stuff on top with hot glue and glued on the magnet clip! These make good gifts!Mine will be going into my craft area in the garage!

Wow has it really been Thanksgiving since my last post!?!?! Did everyone have a nice Christmas? I did I was so happy to see my kids happy! I do have to admit that I am glad it comes around once a year! My bank account as to have time to recover ...lol !! I received a new camera finally ! I love it and still have alot to learn from it but I do have to say my pictures will be so much better !! Thank you babe you are amazing!(Not that you read my blog )!!

Number 1: God without him I would not be here today!!
Number 2:My husband ! I love him so very much and apreciate all that he does for me and his family! I do not know what I would do without him !!

Number 3:My boys oh my awesome 3 boys! I am truly very blessed to have three boys! Not a day goes my I thank God for them!They bring me such joy and laughter and I can not picture my life without them in it!!
Number 4:I am very thankful for the bestie we dont see nearly enough of each since she moved away but all that is about to change since if a few weeks or so she will be moving back!

My Little Man's Birthday Invitation

Happy almost turkey day everyone I don't know about you but I am so ready for some turkey and dressing and of course gravy with of course of of my favorite pumpkin pie!! I have been wanting turkey since July I know I am proberly a little crazy!!

Anyways I wanted to share my son's Brett 4th Birthday Invitation that I had a friend over on Facebook make! I am so glad I did cause they turned out so adorable and saved me alot of time since I am in the middle of making Christmas cards,party goodie bag toppers for my sons first grade class Christmas party,making Brett's goodie bags for his birthday party and his awesome banner I just did'nt have the time!!

Hello Happy Thursday my friends are you ready for another Throwback Thursday challenge? Emma over at My Creative Time has one for you and this week challenge is "sports theme" fun fun! I decided to get out my BIA and make my lil man a notebook to color in oh fun is that!!

My project make work and may not work for her challenge since the whole Throwback Thursday challenges is to use "older" cricut cartrides but I did use a newer cartridge which would be Boys will be boys and then I used the older cartridge George and Basic Shape to cut out all the circles for the inside of notebook and also for the front and back cover of the book!!Anyways we shall see if this will work!!If not is was so fun getting to use my BIA and cricut today!!

What two post in one week wow I am on the groove of things..lol actually just had a couple of hours here and there to play in my craft area.Today I want to share a altered tin for some recipe cards.I think it turned out so cute!!

You can find these tin at Hobby Lobby and online as well.The DP's I picked up at HL along with the little cumcakes embellishments, oh and the clipboard also came from HL oh how I love Hobby Lobby!!Ribbon on top came from stampin up and its a very pretty orange color that I just love!!The dew drops along the lash came from somewhere online my memory is aweful so unless I write it down I forget..lol

Hello September,How I am not ready for you!!

Is it really September 1st ?? I am/was so ready for fall ,I love fall,but now that it is almost here I am a little sad only because after fall comes winter oh how I hate winter!!! Ok so enough about that ,I was browsing online trying to come up with cute little ideas on how to do treat bags for my 1st grader's class and came across a really cute idea!! Not only will I be using the idea for halloween but for my son's 4th birthday too even though it's in december I can not wait to get started on them!!

How cute are these!! I cut the lil pumpkins useing my cricut cartridge Create a Creater and I think the size is 1 3/4,the happy faces are from peachy keen stamps and I think it's the set Dolly Dumplins size 1 1/8 I can not wait to get new ones!! The scallopes are cut fronm cricut cartride sweet treats and cut out 2 inches i think (maybe) I can not remember lol!!

To attach the pumpkins to the treat bags I used mini clothes pins that I found at walmart in the office supply section and I just hot glued them to the scallops how awesome was that!! I am in love with these and can not wait to get started on more!!'

Some Odd Girl Stash Challenge # 6

Hello monday,hello craft time! This time around at Some Odd Girl is to use ribbon and rub on's and I was thinking okay ribbon no problem ,rub on's...humm do I even own any rub on's to be honest I don't think I ever used rub on's on a card before,so I went to digging in my stuff and woo hoo what did I found a thing of rub on's thank goodness cause I really wanted to play along this week!!

For my card I used Earthy Mae I colored her with my copic and bic markers,I am still learning how to color using copic so it's not perfect!!I also decided I would cut her out and pop her on the card somewhere and where she landed was perfect,I think my card turned out good!!

The rub on's I decided just to use flowers and put them on the green paper in which I used devine swirls and enbossed it with my cuttlebug!!I hope everyone is enjoying the last days of summer vacation ,I know the kids and I are for it's back to school August 19th!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

First I want to give thanks to GOD for giving me yet another year,day,hour with my family,without him I don't think I would be here for he gives me every breath I take!The last three years has been a roller coaster with my health and to be honest the only reason I am alive is God,I didnt even realize how bad I was untill my DH finally made me see a doctor! No I do not have cancer just female issues that caused some other issuues but anyways no details today.I am alive and doing better and that I give GOD the credit for!!

Now to my wonderful birthday details,My birthday for most of you know was June 30,my wonderful kids made me some cards and a pretty good cake!Then that evening my wonderful MIL made me a birthday dinner and fudge brownie with homemade ice cream,it was amazing,I really do have the best in-laws!!!They gave me cute card and a gift card to o eat out and to have a date night with my huby!!My husband had to work on my birthday so we was not able to celebrate till last night which was by far one of the best date nights ever!Thank you grandparents for keeping our kids!!We went to Red Lobster or one of my favorites then we went and got kids some fireworks for tonight and he then took me to best buy to buy my birthday gift which was a total surprise since we are so broke all the time from doctor bills an every day life but he made it happen and bought me a flip video which i have been wanting for sometime now!!Thank you hubby your truly amazing!!

After all that I got some me time and I ended up watching a movie and going to bed,I even got to sleep in till 9 am which never happens to me ever!!I am truly blessed and count my blessing every day!

Surgery went well!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I had my surgery a week ago,and everything went well,I did loose some bllod during surgery but they warned my about that before going in since my blood counts was so low and I am a bleeder! ! I go back on the 21st to have lab work done and to make sure everything looks good.It was rough first few days after surgery and had to take myself off some meds due to taking care of kids on my own one pill i had a side affect and man the pain was horrible so I went back on my anit flamatory pill and what a world of differance it made I started feeling better my energy started coming back and I feel like recovery is going well!! I even think I may go out into the garage today and make some cards,maybe scrapbook pages who knows,I cant drive just yet(maybe i will tomorrow)and I still cant do housework or daily activities like i normally would but one more week I should be able to start doing light activities and things with the kids again!!

Ok I must say I am in love with create a critter cricut cartridge exspeacially to use on my SB pages,so many possibilities!!I still have to add the pictures but they have to be printed off !

This will be most likely my last progect for a bit for I am going to be having surgery June 3rd and will be in hospital a couple of days then of course the healing process.But hope it doesnt take to long to get back to crafting for I have lots more pages to do for my boys scrapbooks! Going on Vacation!

I know it's been awhile since I have made a card or scrapbook page or even blogged and I am sorry for that,life is busy these days.I will be leaving for Florida on wednesday and will be gone till monday .I am so excited this will be our first "real" family vacation and we are all so pumped! Saturday I will have a new sister in-law for my husbands brother is getting married on the beach in pensacola(sp)that is the main reason for the trip but since we have to travel so far we decided to just make it a vacation.We plan on doing some shopping,site seeing,relaxing one the beach, just have a good time .The bad part about all this is the oil spill it is sopose to hit shore

pensocola on wednesday if not before so we may be going to another part of florida but we will see!Anyways I hope everyone has a wonderful week.When I get back I plan on getting back in fll swing on cards,scrapbooking,and blog challenges!

Happy Monday woo hoo kids went back to school today although I still have one at home and one I watch on a daily bases I was glad to see the other two go back,I have tons to get done this week and really hard when all the kids are home wanting this and that and want to do this and that but anyways I wanted to share a LO page I made for one of the scrapbooks.It is also for sunday challenge over at my pink stamper I am in love with my cricut and doing LO pages this worked out perfect!

I have to get some pictures printed before I can add one but you get the idea where it goes.I used my cricut to cut out the flowers and to stamp those cute little faces I used my peachy keen stamps,added some pop up dots and ribbon and a cute little LO I have!!

Sock Monkey Birthday Invitations

Just wanted to share what I have been working on all weekend and still not done.My friend asked me if I would make her little girls first birthday invitations in sock monkey and of course I couldnt say no for crafting is what i enjoy,little did I know she needed 45 wow 45 cut out sock monkeys and cupcakes not counting the toulle i had to trim and attach,but it really has been fun and for the most part been enjoying it!

Good Afternoon I dont know about anyone else but im ready for the weekend.Its only thursday and this week has been the pits for me.Anyways thought I would share with you a card I made for delightful sketches and challenges.I used one of their digi images called cappuccino pippin.:

It's Doodle Time

Finally got to make a card and join the Doodle Street Blog Challenge I am so far behind on challenges and my blog I feel so lost.I spent all last week makeing clips and bows for a craft fair I got over powered by ribbon.But that is over and I hope to spend this week playing along with blog challenges and my groups over at CM.
Anyway I used Cass's adorable loveable snowman image its digital and can be purchased
at Cass's store Doodle Street.I think I am going to use him for my christmas cards this year yay I am so excited..ok on to my card hehe

I used my bic,SU,and copic markers to color him.I added some glitter for the snow.Added a little bit of ribbon instead of the scallop edges in which I got at Hobby Lobby a year ago!Hope you have a great Monday !

It's time for another doodle street challenge and I finally got time to sit down and join in.This last week has been one long busy week!Before I share my card I want to let you in on Doodle Street Blog Hop.They are on day two .I wasnt able to post yesurday due to not being home much!For my card I uses Heather D's little accorn image.I am in love with these little accorns!

I used my copic markers to color the image!I got these fantastic papers in the dollar bin at target which I am sadden they had no more !Have a fantastic sunday!

Yay another card ..I am so glad the hubs is on vacation this week it sure does make life easier.I got to play along over at CM in the CCC and it was the first october sketch challenge.I loved the sketch that Heather T has for us.I used my cute little accorn image that I got from my great friend Heather D.You can purchase these cute little critters in her shop at Fresh Brewed Designs.Anyways here is my card.

I got those awesome papers at Target in the dollar section(can't go wrong there)and and the ribbon too.I colored the image useing my bic and copic markers.
Have a wonderful tuesday I am off to take two of the boys to their dentist apts and maybe to the punpkin patch !

Hello It's good oh sunday!I love sunday's such a great day to go to church (for those who do on sunday's)and just relax with the family and get things done before monday!

It's the first day of fall and by the weather we are having you can def.tell!!I made my card to today for the CCC over at CM and it was to make a fall theme card useing a critter.I went with mt pumkin patch riley)dont know his real name). I sure do love this image.
