Robot Party part 1

My monkey turned 5...5 is that even possible.I still remember the day i went into labor ..never in a million years would I of thought of delivering a baby 6 weeks early but I did and he was a big trooper and just perfect~

So this year I went with a Robot theme party..and it was the best party yet! A lot of kiddos let me tell ya!I made most of my decorations and our dear family friend made his cake.I was so pleased .He loved it!

It's the Simple things in Life

So I have found a another favorite blog this past week and I must say as much as I love photography this blog is great! Trevor turns 7 ..lego party it is!

Trevor Turned 7

So this past week my middle little man turned 7 and I have never seen a child be so happy about a birthday then what he was.I think it was all about being the BIG 7.He woke up that morning June 15 and said mom it's my birthday and I am 7 years old I think I grew some and I can now make my own cereal lol he brings such joy to my life.This year he wanted a lego party ,which was erfect since he is into lego big time,that is his and his dads quality time just sitting at his lego table building legos,it just melts my heart.This was such a easy birthday to plan and I knew wxactly how i wanted to do it after a few weeks pryor remember seeing the idea online.I made all decorations and I decorating juice boxes,gift bags,and even his gifts was made into lego's!

I did not make the cake although I probably could have but I usually mess things up so I didnt even try :) Our family friend made it and it was even more cute in person and it tasted so yummy!!







This is just pictures of the lego theme party.We took lil man to fast lanes(entertainment place where you bowl,lazor tag,go carts,etc) with just the family and one friend and he was in heaven it was so much fun.Will post another blog later with pictures.

FRIDAY best word for the day.It is sunny and clear and one day closer to my kids summer vacation.Anyways I actually got to do another card and challenge blog.Maybe I am back in the swing of things (i hope anyways).I am actually going to enter my card into two blog challenges I dont think I have ever done this before (but I could be wrong)anyways it for Card Making Mama's challenge and this week is challnge 21 and you are to use scraps everyone has scraps right? Happy Sunday my fellow crafters! It's is a nice sunday here the sun is out(for now) rain is in the forcast blah!!Hubby is off today and all 3 kiddos are being so good! Hello everyone can you believe it's March already? Wow spring is just a couple weeks away I am so excited although rumor has it we are sopose to be getting yet one more BIG snow storm at the end of the month so we shall see:(

Can you believe it this is my second blog challenge in one day which means I was able to make not one but two cards today! The weather was perfect and since my craft supplies are out in my garage I was able to open it up and let little man out and rome and play in the yard love it cause i can craft and watch him play !To bad the this nice weather wont last!Ok onto the card challenge!

Story behing my Blog

Hello my readers and welcome all new followers!

I wanted to share with you the meaning and why I came up with my blog name!

Little Bit of This and That came from me wanting to share with everyone my crafting and card making creations and still be able to share my family and my life with everyone!

So it's a little bit of this and that I share every week {or at least i try to}!!I love to blog and love reading blogs not only in the crafting and card making world but also in the world of everyones life and family! I might add I am addicted to reading blogs!If I dont do anything else on a daily bases I at least cheach out and read blogs I follow! I lover the blog world!

Well I hope that helps to describe where my blog name came from!

Wow can we say B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L ! We went from below zero to single digits temps to 50 almsot 60 degree temps in one week!Its been a crazy wild cold winter that is for sure! What do you know it's sunday again! What a nasty cold snowy week! I am so sick of winter and so ready for summer! Havent got to craft in couple of days due to snow days and trying to keep kids entertained since we was snowed in!But I do have some pictures (of me of course)that i wanted to share! I am so inspired by LMM's blog and decide to just go with it and learn to love myself and the way I look in pictures! I have always hated pictures (even though I love take them)but I am putting that behind me and start taking more of myself I believe my kids will love that when they get older and actually have pictures of their old momma!

Composition Book Cover

Hello Crafty friends ! Guess what? We are still snowed in..im so over this stuff! I took advantage of the snow day and made a composition notebook cover! I found this awesome tutorial over at Momma Go Round and loved it! The only thing is I did not use my sewing machine!{I am still learning to sew}So instead of sewing I used Heat n Bond !!This stuff is Ah-Mazing!! I am going to do my best to give you a tutorial on how I made mine! If you prefer to sew you can find much better tutorial over at Momma Go Round blog!

Supplie you will need!

Iron,Heat n Bond,compostion notebook,measuring tape

and of course fabric of choice!

Step one: measure your notebook ,mine just happen to be the same size as Momma Go Rounds so I just used her measurements:notebook{9.5 x 7.5 }Double the width(15 inches)and add 9 inches,add 1 inch to the height,measurements should be 24 x 10.5

Step two:cut and measure your fabric

Step three: this is where you would sew but I used heat and bond cut the amount you need and iron down the crease.

Step four:fold down 3.5 sections for form the pockets:

Repeat last step on the other side:

Here is my final project! I am no good at tutorial and for a better one go to Momma Go Round's blog ! She did it a little differant from mine and hers turned out so much better!

Snow Days Snow Days!

Sorry not much crafting going on here for me ! I want so bad to get out my craft supplies and play! We was hit with a ice and snow storm so we are snowed in and kids are home from school! So instead of me crafting im playing with play doh crayons,wii,and doing a whole lot of snuggling!I do hope to get the house cleaned up and get my car dug out from 8 inches of snow and play with the kids in it and get some cards made and even my son's V-day goddie bags done!We shall see!I do want to share some snow pictures with you today for starts ! I will have tons more !!

Just Me

Just me wanted to share some pictures of ME out in the snow! This is before I got my hair cut this past week ! But I am trying to get use to taking pictures of myself for I hate the camera well not hate but not a huge fan! I do enjoy taking pictures though and kindof wish I was photography! Anyways here some pics enjoy! My goal is to post once a week of "just me" I want to like "me" and mysrlf in pictures! I do have to say I am way better then what I use to be! Sorry I have been MIA but my laptop needed to go visit the doctor and 148.00 bucks later he is ok! I just hope it doesnt happen again! I feeel so lost without my laptop luckily I had my ipod to kindof keep up with the blog world !The only thing is that I couldnt update !Any who I am back and cant wait to share my V-Day goodie bag toppers I am making for my son's first grade class!
